Photography Tour of Old San Juan
For the last four days Bob and I have been living it up in Puerto Rico for a Diamond PR and San Juan Marriott Vlogger Press Trip. The basic outline is that five vloggers are set free with a car, some cash and 48 hours to make an awesome travel video. Where you film, what you do, and how you tell your story are up to each vlogger- making each video truly unique to their style and voice.
We’ve been exploring as much as we can and late one afternoon embarked on a self guided photography walking tour in Old San Juan. Here’s the photos I captured, tweaked by Instagram to give you more of the feeling I felt while walking around the city. Take a look:

Amazing photos! makes me want to visit even more than I did before
Awwww, you found a street named for me. How sweet =)
(Great shots–can’t wait to see the final product!)
Beautiful! Some of the buildings and that cobblestone street remind me of Cuba. Sounds like a fun trip!
Great photos, I love colorful buildings
I love the large size format of the photos – and what a lot of fun this trip sounds. Your photos are great.
Fabulous shots. I’ve only spent a very brief couple of hours in San Juan (with a big group of other people when we took a side trip from one of the big resorts), so didn’t really get to experience it like this.
Also agree with Leigh, love the large size format of these photos. Fantastic.
And what a fabulous trip it looks!
Very nice shots.
Love these! I’m planning a trip there in the spring.
Beautful photos! I love the big sizes and vintage feel you gave them. I loved Old San Juan and El Morro. It’s such a wonderful city to get lost in. Have a fabulous trip!
What great photos Jade. Old San Juan looks fascinating. I love the atmosphere you generated using Instagram. Did you take the photos on you iphone as well?
Great shots, and a nice place to live or visit!
Great shots! After biking around a town in Italy, I am all about renting bikes with kid seats so we can explore that way. Course I would take a car as well!
These photos show exactly why I want to visit Puerto Rico with my kids; to give them a taste of a foreign country with the familiarity of North America. We visited Montreal with the same intent, and it was a great introduction to international travel.
Man, I really missed out. I only was in San Juan for about half a day for a cruise port stop….not the way to see the city.
