With my wedding officially less than a month away, it is time for Bob and I to each celebrate our final days of being a bachelor and bachelorette. First up was my trip to New Orleans with five of my closest girlfriends. Located all around the US, we met up in the Big Easy for an unforgettable weekend full of oyster shucking, fancy afternoon tea, shrimp and grits, Hurricanes, walking tours and midnight beignet treats.
Here are some of my favorite photos of New Orleans and our crazy weekend together:
I celebrated my bachelorette party with my MOH, Meagan, one of my best friends from high school, Jenny, my freshman college roommate, Christienne, and my high school through college and all around great friend, Erin.
While it was fun to party on Bourbon Street and get hit on by countless Bachelor parties, I was okay leaving that area and exploring the more laid back Frenchman Street. (Being on Bourbon Street quickly made me realize that I have blissfully outgrown crazy drunken nights and much prefer a quieter bar where I can sit and talk to my friends.) Listening to jazz on our last night was pretty spectacular and a great cap to a wonderful weekend.
Thanks to my lovely ladies for treating me so well and creating such a memorable weekend. I can’t wait to get married!
