Hello,
Hawaii!

The Aloha State is the definition of paradise. From the pristine beaches and crystal clear waters full of sea life, to the super friendly locals and the delicious, finger-licking foods, Hawaii lives up to every expectation and then showers you with more love and adventure. Hawaii is the perfect vacation for anyone, no matter what your travel style is – from romance seeking couples to solo adventure travelers, family reunions or connections to foodies on a quest for a cultural journey.

At 30,000 Feet: There are 8 main islands. The Big Island has 5 national parks and 2 active volcanoes. Hawaii’s state flower is the Yellow Hibiscus. There are no snakes in Hawaii. You can watch the sunrise from a volcano and swim with sea turtles in the same day.

8 Major Islands

4 Active Volcanoes

3 Native Species of Sea Turtles

Best Advice. Before planning your Hawaiian adventure and picking which islands you’ll visit, think about what type of vacation you want to have, as each island offers something different. While you can lounge on the beach or go for an awesome hike or snorkel trip on any of the islands, each island has their own personality. For example, you can swim with manta rays at night on the Big Island or enjoy the hopping nightlife on Oahu or watch the sunrise from above the clouds in Maui, and so on. We suggest planning at least 4 days on each island and our ideal trip includes two island visits over a 10-day period.

Insider Notes

Tip 1

We love Maui for a long weekend getaway from the West Coast. 4 nights can refuel your soul.

Tip 2

If you drive the Road to Hana, make sure to spend the night at Travaasa to not only split the drive but to savor the drive slowly.

Tip 3

Oahu is the perfect weeklong Hawaii adventure- split up with time in Waikiki, the North Shore and Honolulu.

Tip 4

Big Island is HUGE. Make sure to rent a car so you can drive all over the island on your own time. Plan to split your trip between the Kona and Hilo side.

Tip 5

Always book the earliest flight to Hawaii and the last flight out on your way back home so you can fully enjoy your first and last days on the island to make the most of your trip.

Tip 6

A Hawaiian Christmas is truly the most magical way to spend the holidays.
