Yesterday, Bob and I met up with a few friends at the Artisan Cheese Gallery in Studio City. If you like cheese and you like wine- this is a must for your visit in Los Angeles. We each ordered one of their signature sandwiches and a cheese platter to share. Not really knowing much about different cheeses, only that I like to eat all of them, it was nice that this place describes all the flavors and what toppings would be a great addition to each cheese. One of the cheeses tasted like pineapple upside cake- I’m not kidding- and normally runs about $80 a pound!! The cheese specialist added a small slice just so we could try it and OMG- it was amazing! Also, probably the only time in my life that I’ll be eating that particular cheese unless Bob makes it in Hollywood and I throw huge, elaborate parties with fancy cheese trays. You will all get an invite!
It was still rainy and cold in L.A. (we actually drove through hail) so I picked an outfit that was comfortable, warm and easy. To me, this outfit fit all of those requirements and for a little interest in the outfit, I added the coral belt and necklace. This necklace is a perfect one for traveling and I’d highly suggest packing one of these for the road. First of all, it’s basically just three long beaded chains linked together and it can be worn in at least three different ways. The first, just how it came, long and hanging down. The second is the way I wore it here, where I just tied it in a knot so it would be a little closer to my neck. The third is to actually wrap the necklace around your neck twice for a much more classy and pearl vibe. I can’t wait to try wearing it one of the other ways!
Do you buy your cheese from a cheese shop or the grocery store? Would you spend $80 bucks on a pound of cheese?
