Honestly, I think there is a piece of everybody that likes apples. I really haven’t ever met someone who flat out hates them, and I’ve met at least two people who hated alot of things (but not apples). When we found out there was a cluster of apple orchards just an hour and a half outside of LA, we had to make the trip, and Oak Glen did not disappoint.

Although apple picking isn’t available year round, there are plenty of apple related activities (mostly eating and drinking) to fill a visit throughout the non-picking seasons. I would highly suggest trying the apple burrito and apple wine.
All in all this is a great day trip for both young adults as well as families, and a few hours in Oak Glen is probably enough to see just about everything. Definitely check out their official website before you head out.
