Thank you PayPal and Walmart for sponsoring this post. Introducing PayPal cash in and cash out money services, the financial services alternative which allows you to manage your PayPal account and cash flow needs on your own terms!
Last month we were in four different states, juggling timezones and sleeping schedules, hiking through rows of cactus in Tucson, feeding giraffes in Louisiana, sipping wine in Napa, and seeing the Christmas lights along the river in Milwaukee.

Each trip, no matter how amazing the experiences, brought new challenges and stresses, from making sure we get to the airport with plenty of time to go through security lines to having our itinerary all buttoned up and double checked so we don’t miss out on anything cool. Oftentimes we get to a new city and immediately research where we can quickly get out some cash without wasting too much time. After spending way too much time searching for an ATM and worrying about fees, we’re excited to introduce you to PayPal and Walmart’s new cash in and cash out money services.
The financial flexibility with PayPal’s cash in and cash out money services is key- allowing us to pop into any nearby Walmart and securely take out cash that is currently in our PayPal account. With the amount of US travel we do as a family, almost every major city we visit has a Walmart that is easy to get to and now we can check one thing off our travel challenges list.
So how does it work? You can access your money through any Walmart service desk, ATM or cash register, check your balance, and get out cash. Additionally, if you have the PayPal Mastercard, you can also pay bills online or use the card like any other credit card where Mastercard is accepted.
When we were in St. George, Utah, we got in pretty late after driving in from LA. It would have been great to know we could stop off at Walmart, load up on groceries for the week AND get some cash for guide tips using our PayPal account. When we were driving out to Global Wildlife Center outside of Baton Rouge, this also would have come in handy – and we passed two Walmarts. When we were in Tucson, we passed a Walmart on the way out to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum and I would have loved to get some spending cash while we stopped for waters and lemonade for Augustine.
All this to say that you too probably could benefit from their new partnership. We encourage you to test it out– especially if you’re busy and traveling like us. It’s so easy to use and completely stress free. Happy travels!
