hey there, blog readers! It’s been a long time, a really long time, since we last talked. I promise we didn’t forget about you, we just had a few little things to do in April that took up all of our time.
First things first and most important- WE GOT HITCHED! After eleven years of dating, Bob and I finally tied the knot. We actually received our wedding certificate in the mail yesterday, so it is totally official! I’m going to write a proper post on the wedding details (how we planned it, how we saved money, etc) in another post, but I wanted to say, it was absolutely beautiful.
Even though it rained all day up until 20 minutes before the ceremony and I was totally freaking out that we wouldn’t be able to get married outside, it stopped raining and was gorgeous. Every little piece of grass was greener, the water was bluer and the sky had this misty, romantic feeling. I walked down the aisle under huge old trees filled with Spanish moss hanging down. It was dreamy.
It was also freezing cold (set a record for coldest April 20th since 1928!) but I swear, I couldn’t feel anything. I was just so happy to be surrounded by all my favorite people in one of my favorite places in the world.

Secondly, the new travel website I’ve been working on for the last 8 months, Travel Mindset, finally launched! Still working on launching a few more user components, but I couldn’t be more happy with the way it has all turned out. Now that the wedding has been celebrated and the site has launched, I will have a lot more time for blogging. I don’t mean to leave this space unattended and I hate not updating but April just had so much going on that I couldn’t give this space proper dedication. In May, you can expect regular updates, travel stories and contests to start again!
