It’s Friday again- WooHoo! This week started out awesome with a small Tweet Up with a few friends of ours from the Colorado Tourism Board. (Man, we love Colorado!) And today we are off to another Tweet-Up with Los Angeles bloggers. Can’t wait to see everyone. Do you find tweet-ups in your city? I love them. I really like meeting the person behind the blog and trying out new to me restaurants around town. Today is also the start of National Park Week- so go visit a National Park for free!

Favorite Photo Post: Scenes from Ireland’s Skellig Islands by Leigh of Hike Bike Travel. One of the reasons I love travel blogs so much is discovering or traveling to new to me places and adding them to my ever-expanding bucket list. I’ve been to Ireland before but only a very small area and this picture post tells me how much of the country I have left to explore.
Favorite New Road Trip: 10 SEWARD HIGHWAY, SOUTHERN ALASKA put together by Coastal Living. The Alaska Marine Highway is a series of ferries that covers over 8,000 miles! Talk about redefining what “road trip” means!
Favorite Travel Blogger: Laurel from Monkeys and Mountains is my favorite travel blogger this week. I had the pleasure of meeting her on my Costa Brava trip and after walking around all day, I felt like I had known her for years- we connected on travel blogging (obviously!) but also other life passions. Can’t wait until our travels meet up again. Follow along with her during #TBU- she has already shared some amazing experiences!
Favorite Travel Deal: Do you Bloomspot? Well- you should. This weeks deal is seriously tugging at my wallet. For $6,534, two people can have an all-inclusive 7 night luxury yacht cruise to the Galapagos Islands! Guides take you on tours, you can snorkel, kayak, what else do you want?! This deal is incredible. (It was one of our dream trips for 2012)
Favorite Travel Outfit: I love everything about this easy summer travel outfit by Lauren from Golden White Decor. In this outfit she was exploring Santa Barbara and the big hat and easy dress would be perfect for walking around State Street or grabbing a fish taco near the pier. This type of maxi dress can easily be dressed up with heels at night or used as a bathing suit cover up. Plus- sun protection for the win with that amazing larger than life hat!
Favorite Pinterest Board to Follow: Our Natural World– a group of travel bloggers are contributors and the images are stunning examples of just how awesome Earth is with its natural beauty. It is definitely worth a follow!
